1. What Senior Services do you provide?

Senior Services provides seniors (60 years of age and older) with information and referral on many programs in Coconino County, which include: 

• Benefits Checkup (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - SNAP, Arizona Commodity Supplemental Food Program - Food Plus, Medicare, and other federal and state programs)
• Homecare Services (Housekeeping, Shopping, Personal Care, and Respite Care)
• Nutrition Program (Congregate meals and Meals on Wheels in Flagstaff and Williams)
• Transportation Services (Senior Independence Program, and assistance with other transportation programs) [ADA policies]

2. How can I receive Senior Services?

Services are based on eligibility, availability, and need.

3. Is there a fee for Senior Services?

Homecare Services are provided on a sliding scale fee. Nutrition program congregate meals are provided to those who are 60 years and older, a spouse under 60 years of age, and/or disabled individual for a suggested donation of $4 per meal. For Meals on Wheels, please contact the Area Agency on Aging at (877) 521-3500.

4. I am not able to leave my house, does Senior Services make home visits?

Home visits are available and scheduled during the regular business hours with a Case Manager. We also provide Meals on Wheels if you meet the income eligibility.

5. Is there a waiting period for Senior Services?

Some services may require a waiting period. Services such as Meals on Wheels home delivered meals and Homecare Services are provided based on eligibility and availability within the service delivery area.
