[ARCHIVED] Dennison Tapped to Fill Williams Unified School District Board Vacancy

Superintendent of Schools Robert Kelty chooses Alyssa Dennison for Williams School Board.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Coconino County Superintendent of Schools Robert Kelty appointed Alyssa Dennison to serve on the Williams Unified School District #2 Governing Board.

Board President David Nenne guided Superintendent Kelty’s decision, and Kelty said he was grateful for his time and counsel. Dennison fills a vacancy left by former board member Kristi Fredrickson, who resigned in November. Dennison, who will be sworn in this month, will serve on the board until Dec. 31, 2014.

Superintendent Kelty appointed Dennison with the help of a community advisory board, which vetted the candidates. Kelty is grateful for their time and counsel, and thanks all interested parties, applicants and citizens within the district that provided assistance during the selection process.
