Please join the Coconino County Sheriff's Office and your District County Supervisor for the upcoming monthly Neighborhood Watch Meetings for Timberline/Fernwood on March 4th and Doney Park on March 6th. These meetings are held to further the partnerships between law abiding citizens, law enforcement and county government.
March 4, 2014 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm - Timberline / Fernwood Neighborhood Watch meeting at Summit Fire Station #33 located at 6050 Firehouse Lane. Sheriff's Office staff and County Supervisor Liz Archuleta will be present to answer questions and share information with residents. A Coconino County Master Gardener presentation will be made on seasonal gardening and plant species that thrive in Coconino County. The presentation also will include information on how to identify and deal with noxious weeds and plants.
March 6, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm - Doney Park Neighborhood Watch meeting at Summit Fire Station #32 located at 8905 Koch Field Rd. Sheriff's Office staff and County Supervisor Mandy Metzger will be present to answer questions and share information with residents. Ruthanne Penn of Coconino County Emergency Management will give a presentation on Preparedness for Natural Disasters and Emergencies. The presentation will include how to build a "Go Bag" in the event you are evacuated and how to build a "Home Emergency Kit" in the event you are asked to shelter in place.
