[ARCHIVED] Video Visitation Offered at the Coconino County Detention Facility

Flagstaff, AZ; Visit your friend of loved one from anywhere around the world. On Tuesday, October 29, 2013, remote and local Video Visitation will take the place of the current Face-to-Face system used at the Coconino County Jail. To schedule a visit, you must have a Video Visitation account, which requires you to be Telmate Verified. You can create an account at the Telmate Kiosk at our jail facility or online at www.gettingout.com. This is a web-based system, so to schedule a Remote visit you must have access to a laptop or PC. Currently our Video Visitation System does not support Tablets or Smartphones. This system will be used for both remote and local visitation. You can use your own computer for the video visitation or come to the detention facility and use the visitation station in the lobby.

The laptop or PC you use must have:
• A webcam, microphone and speakers.
• An Internet browser. The Telmate system supports Internet Explorer 7, 8 or 9, Firefox 7, 8 or 9, Safari 4 or 5.
• The current version of Adobe Flash which you can download and update for free at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
• A High speed Internet connection. You should use DSL or Cable. Dial-up and satellite are not supported by the Telmate system.

Visitation Times:
• 8:00 -11:30 AM, 12:30-4:30 PM, 5:30-6:30 PM, and 7:00-10:00 PM, 7 days a week.
• Inmates will receive 2 free local visits a week until March 1, 2014 at which time they will receive 1 free local visit a week. A local visit is one that takes place from the lobby of our jail facility.
• Additional local visits cost $7.50 for 30 minutes
• Additional remote visits cost $15.00 for 30 minutes
