[ARCHIVED] Attempted Abduction of Thirteen Year-Old Female

Flagstaff, AZ The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying a man who allegedly fondled a 13-year-old girl in the area of Koch Field Road and Silver Saddle Road on Friday, September 13th, at approximately 5:30 in the afternoon.

The 13-year-old victim reported getting off her school bus at Koch Field Road and Silver Saddle Road and began walking home when an unknown male approached her from behind. She saw the subject sitting against a telephone pole on Silver Saddle Road as her bus drove by, and stated he began to follow her once she exited the bus and began walking home.

The subject quickly caught up to her, rubbed her arm, then grabbed her buttocks and made a lewd comment to her. The girl then ran away. As she looked back, she saw the male running away from her, heading west on Silver Saddle Road, where he then ran into the forest toward the Old Cave’s Crater trailhead.

The subject is described: as a dark skinned male, approximately 30 years old, 5'10" height, 160-170 lbs weight, brown eyes, short greasy black spiked hair.

The subject was last seen wearing: short sleeved shirt with sweat stains, tan shorts that went below the knees with light-colored bleach type stains on the legs, wearing a small black backpack.

Anyone who may have seen the subject in the area, or has information on a possible identity or whereabouts of the subject, is asked to contact the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office at 928-774-4523. This is all the information that is available at this time. Sheriff’s Detectives are continuing this investigation.
