[ARCHIVED] Fifty-Year Old Man of Timberline Arrested for Molesting his Adopted Daughters

Flagstaff, AZ; A fifty-one year old man who lives with his family in the Timberline subdivision located east of Flagstaff has been charged with multiple felonies stemming from alleged sexual contact he had with two of his underage adopted daughters.

On October 13, 2012 a family acquaintance of a twelve-year old female victim reported that the child disclosed information indicating her adopted father had been molesting her. A Coconino County Sheriff’s Deputy and Detectives were sent to the home and upon interviewing the first identified victim learned that a second adopted daughter who was fifteen years old also alleged that the adopted father was molesting her. After initial investigation including several interviews Deputies arrested the suspect for two counts of Child Molestation.

Subsequent investigation included physical examinations and Safe Child Interviews with both victims. After review by the Coconino County Attorney’s Office a complaint was issued charging the suspect with two counts of Child Molestation, four counts of Sexual Conduct With a Minor, one count of Sexual Abuse and two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor. The name of the arrested suspect is being withheld so as to protect the identity and victim’s rights of the two children. Coconino County Sheriff’s Detectives are continuing this investigation.
