[ARCHIVED] Blue Ridge Neighborhood Watch Meeting

Flagstaff, AZ: The regularly scheduled monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting for the Blue Ridge and Happy Jack areas was held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, beginning at 6:00 pm at the Blue Ridge Fire Station located at 5023 Enchanted Lane. During the meeting Lieutenant Jim Coffey of the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office spoke about the progress and current status of the investigations into the numerous residential burglaries that have occurred in the Blue Ridge and Happy Jack areas.

Brian Klimowski who is the Meteorologist in Charge for the National Weather Service in Flagstaff gave an overview of the services provided and spoke about citizen involvement and the Weather Watcher Program.

Less than twenty community members were in attendance and it is believed that this is due to the time of year. For that reason and limited response regarding the Holiday Pot Luck Meeting that was scheduled for Saturday, December 1, 2012 that meeting will be canceled and no neighborhood watch meeting will be held during the month of December, 2012 due to the holidays. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Blue Ridge Neighborhood Watch group will be held during the second Wednesday of January, 2012. During that meeting we will discus if we want to continue to meet monthly or meet with less frequency during the Winter Months. If you have any questions please call Gerry Blair at 928-226-5089. Sheriff Bill Pribil and the Men and Women of the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office wish you a safe and happy Holiday Season.
