[ARCHIVED] Winter Storm Warning From Tue 9 pm until Fri 11 am MST

WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST FRIDAY...

WHAT...After a lull tonight, heavy snow is expected again Thursday afternoon through Friday morning. Additional snow accumulations of up to 10 inches, see table below for site-specific forecasts. Winds gusting to 40 to 50 mph Thursday afternoon into Friday morning.

WHERE...Areas near Doney Park, Flagstaff, Forest Lakes, Fredonia, Heber-Overgaard, Jacob Lake, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Sedona, Seligman and Williams. WHEN...Until 11 AM MST Friday.

IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage.

Flagstaff 15 to 21 inches

Forest Lakes 14 to 20 inches

Fredonia  2 to 4  inches

Heber-Overgaard  2 to 4  inches

Prescott Valley  2 to 4  inches

Sedona  2 to 4  inches

Seligman  2 to 4  inches

Williams 11 to 17 inches.
