[ARCHIVED] Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Man for Attempted Homicide

Flagstaff, AZ; Coconino County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 51 year-old Timothy Sean Mcshane of Kaibab Estates West which is located north of Ash Fork, Arizona, on Monday, May 28, 2013 for one count of Attempted Homicide as well numerous other felony charges in connection with an assault that occurred the day before on May 27, 2013.

On Monday, May 26, 2013 at about 6:00 pm Deputies were sent to the intersection of Grand Avenue and Double A Ranch Road to speak with the victims of an Assault per Domestic Violence. The first deputy to arrive spoke with three adult victims two of which were related to the suspect. According to an adult female, the suspect who she was related to resided in a shed on a lot located in Kaibab Estates West on Cedar Street. Located on the same lot is a second shed where the victim stores some of her property. The victim accompanied by a second adult female and adult male who is also related to the suspect drove to the property with the intention of obtaining some of her property stored in the second shed.

After interviewing the three victims the suspect and locating and collecting physical evidence, investigators believe that Mr. Mcshane fired a total of eight rounds from a shotgun either in the air or at a vehicle occupied by the victims. It is believed that the suspect who was walking on the road as the victims were traveling to his lot allegedly fired two rounds in the air in an attempt to get the victim’s attention. The suspect walked to a neighbor’s residence and was driven back to his lot by that neighbor.

On several occasions the suspect allegedly pointed the weapon directly at and in close range to one of the female victims shouting that he was going to kill her. It is believed he fired six more rounds, two in the air, one at the driver side front tire of the victim’s vehicle, one at the passenger side front tire of the vehicle, and two more at the vehicle as the victims were fleeing from the suspect. The suspect is being held at the Coconino County Detention Facility.
