[ARCHIVED] CCSO Investigates Shooting in Timberline Neighborhood

Flagstaff, AZ –   June 24, 2020 at approximately 8:53 PM Deputies were called to the Chevron gas station at Campbell Avenue and Highway 89 for a report of a subject who had been shot. Residents in the area reported hearing multiple gun shots. One adult and one juvenile male were transported to the Flagstaff Medical Center for non-life-threatening gunshot injuries following the incident.

Detectives were able to ascertain there had been an altercation at a residence in the area and the involved parties left in several vehicles. At least two vehicles were involved in a chase while gunshots were fired. The front passenger in a pursuing vehicle, fired multiple shots at the other vehicle injuring two occupants.

As a result of the initial investigation, Anthony Daniel Luna, an 18-year-old Flagstaff resident, was arrested and booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility for multiple counts of Attempted 2nd Degree Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct with a Weapon, Drive by Shooting and Criminal Damage.
