[ARCHIVED] Paid Election Poll Workers needed for Primary and General Elections

The Coconino County Election's Department needs additional poll workers to open and close the polls, set up voting equipment, sign in voters, distribute and collect ballots, record and certify vote totals, and maintain the integrity of elections at the polling place.

AN ELECTION BOARD WORKER MUST:

• Be a registered voter in Coconino County
• Be able to read and write English
• Attend an election worker training for every election
• Participate in a pre-election meeting the evening before Election Day
• Remain at the polling place on Election Day for the entire day, usual hours are from 5:30 AM until after the polls close (8:00 PM -- 9:00 PM)

Poll Workers receive $90 for working Election Day; $20 for training and $10 for the pre-election setup meeting.
