Coconino County Parks & Recreation Department is seeking to fill several superintendent positions to help with the 2013 County Fair. The event has not come to life each Labor Day weekend without the dedicated work of fair superintendents who oversee the barns and buildings that house the fair’s main attractions. Superintendents prepare the buildings for fairgoers, manage the arrival of exhibits and supervise their respective buildings and barns during the fair.

The County is currently seeking superintendents to assist in the following areas:
- Schools
- Home Economics
- Hobbies & Collectables
- Open Rabbit
- Jr. Sheep

Superintendents receive a $250 honorarium following the fair. Many superintendents have found the experience rewarding, as most have been a part of this longstanding community tradition for more than 20 years.
