The Evidence Technician maintains the chain of custody for evidence and property. As part of this role in maintaining the chain of custody, they manage the evidence and property room. Some of the property that is managed includes evidence from crime scenes, found property, and weapons that must be surrendered to the Sheriff’s Office under court orders such as orders of protection.

If you have been notified by an officer that property belonging to you is ready for release, please make an appointment with the property manager at (928) 226-5119.
