NATURE OF WORK:
This is a full-time, permanent position within the Flood Control District that will support both post-wildfire response, flood mitigation, forest restoration and other FCD initiatives. The Program Manager III will support an existing strong team tackling an on-going disaster. This leader will provide high-level support for the planning and execution of a $110 million investment plan with funding secured to address post-wildfire flooding resulting from the Pipeline Fire. This individual works directly with the Flood Control District Administrator and Forest Restoration Director, interacts with key governmental and community leaders and supports the County’s more than $6-million Forest Restoration Initiative to reduce the threat of wildfire and post-wildfire flooding.
