Hope Receiving Center

Hope Center EntranceThe Coconino County Juvenile Court Hope Receiving Center is a community diversion and deflection program for youth and families in Coconino County.  It is a community resource that enhances public safety while reducing the need for secure detention.  We provide youth and families timely intervention and referrals for community support services.  Diversion and deflection centers like the Hope Receiving Center help keep youth in their community longer, wrapping services around them and their families quickly, and helping to meet presenting needs to lower overall risk.

We believe that all children and families are capable of success, no exceptions!

In 2021, we renovated unused sections of our detention center to create a softer, less institutionalized, and safer space for youth families.
