Outdoor Adventure Summer Day Camp Now Accepting Registrations

Coconino County Parks & Recreation is now accepting registrations for the Outdoor Adventure Summer Day Camp.

Activities for this year’s camp include archery, group games, hiking, arts and crafts, and a field trip to Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course.

Due to COVID-19, staff made some changes to camp this year, including:

  • Camp will operate Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Camp will not operate with fewer than 10 participants and no more than 15.
  • There will be fewer field trips this year, with most activities occurring at Fort Tuthill County Park.
  • Check out CocoRec for a complete list of camp COVID-19 policies and to register before July 10.

Check our Facebook or CocoRec pages for more information.

Coconino County Parks & Recreation (CCPR) is proud to offer recreation programs in the areas of outdoor recreation/fitness, nature education, arts & crafts, and indoor recreation/fitness. We have programs for everyone and they may be one day (clinics) or last 4-6 weeks (standard programs). Special programs are also offered throughout the year.

Financial Assistance

The Friends of Coconino County Parks (FCCP) have teamed up with CCPR to offer Program Financial Assistance for certain CCPR recreation programs. Funds are limited and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

If you are interested in applying for the Program Financial Assistance Fund, please review and fill out the following two documents and contact the Recreation Coordinator, Richard Conway, at (928) 679 8028 or by email at rconway(at) to schedule an appointment.

How to Register

There are three ways to register for programs:

1. Online Registration through CocoRec - View our guide on how to register for programs

This method is by far the easiest way to register for programs. To register with CocoRec, you must first set up a Customer Account. This should take only a few minutes. Once you have a Customer Account, click the Programs link on the top of the screen. From there you can find activities in numerous ways: location, program type, program subject category, and program age category. You can also enter in any of the program numbers into the search box on the right side of the screen. After you have found the program(s) you want to register for, simply add the programs into your cart. You will get a confirmation email after you have paid for the program. Payment Methods: Credit Card or Electronic Check.

2. Walk-In Registration

To save time, we recommend that you fill out the registration form and take it to the Coconino County Parks & Recreation main office at 2446 Fort Tuthill Loop in Flagstaff, AZ. A CCPR Staff Member will then assist you in the registration process. The registration form will also be available in the main office. Your registration confirmation will be given to you by the CCPR Staff. Payment Methods: Cash, Check, or Credit Card

3. Mail-In Registration

To mail-in your program registration, simply fill out the registration form and insert payment in form of cash or check into the envelope. Please mail those items to:

Coconino County Parks & Recreation
ATTN: Outdoor Recreation
2446 Fort Tuthill Loop
Flagstaff, AZ 86005

It is recommended that you give a follow-up phone call to ensure that the form was received. If you would like to pay by credit card, it is recommended that you follow the Online Registration directions above. Payment Methods: Cash or Check.

Please Note: Full payment is due at time of registration. Registrations are due 3 days before the first day of the program.
