Senior Administrative Manager: Coconino County Parks and Recreation
The Coconino County Parks and Recreation is seeking applicants with a strong administrative, government finance and/or accounting/financial background to fill the role of the Senior Administrative Manager. Under general direction the successful candidate will perform work of considerable difficulty in the management of the administrative section and performs related work as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in subject area and three years progressively responsible management experience in assigned or closely related field; OR, Associate's degree in subject area and four years progressively responsible management experience in assigned or closely related field; OR, Five years progressively responsible management experience in assigned or closely related field; OR, Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
The Ideal Candidate should possess a finance or accounting background and the ability to effectively utilize programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point, QuickBooks in order to perform the functions of the position. This candidate will be a thoughtful contributor to the Department's Management Team.
Preferred Qualifications include a government finance or accounting background and the ability to manage a moderately complex chart of accounts, cash handing, financial planning, and budget development; manage and conduct high-level cash transactions; supervise administrative, front office, and customer service operations. Experience with Tyler Munis financial/accounting software..
