Workforce Development Board
The Coconino County Workforce Development Board serves as a convener of workforce system partners. These partners work together to enhance the capacity and performance of the workforce system, align and improve employment, training and education programs, and through these efforts promote economic growth though out Coconino County.
The Coconino County Workforce Development Board serves as a strategic leader and convener of local workforce development system stakeholders.
The Local Board partners with employers and the workforce development system to develop policies and direct investments to support workforce system strategies and support regional approaches including local and regional Sector partnerships and career pathways, and high quality, customer centered service delivery and service delivery approaches.

Workforce Development Board Meetings are held at the Health and Human Services Building in the Ponderosa room; 2625 King St, Flagstaff AZ 86004.
The ARIZONA@WORK 2020-2023 Local Workforce Development Plan is now posted for public comment in accordance with 20 CFR 679.370, 679.560 (19) and 670.560 (21)(e) from August 3, 2020 through August 14, 2020.

The Coconino County WIOA 2017-2021 LOCAL PLAN defines the strategies and initiatives to increase workforce system efficiencies that ensure the continuing growth of the workforce system and the creation of a customer-centered system in which:
- The needs of business and workers drive workforce solutions;
- Job Centers provide excellent customer service to all job seekers and businesses;
- Strong regional economies are supported; and
- The local board’s vision and goals reinforce the priorities of the state workforce system.
