Tax Notice Breakdown

Where do your property taxes go 2022

Every spring, the boards for taxing districts in Arizona put together their budgets for the upcoming fiscal year. During this process, tax rates are set. In the fall, the County Treasurer collects the taxes and distributes the funds to each taxing district. Please note that our office does not have the authority to set or approve any tax rates or district budgets. For specific questions on how a district uses your tax dollars, we suggest contacting the district directly.

For 2022 there were 48 different taxing districts in Coconino County with a tax levy. Please find information, links, and contact details for each of these taxing districts below. You may also contact our office at (928) 679-8188 for a staff member to walk through your tax notice with you.
