Civil Legal Assistant(ARPA) - The Coconino County Attorney’s Office is looking for an experienced Civil Legal Assistant. This assistant will work together with our other Civil Legal Assistant to support 5 attorneys and 1 paralegal. Under supervision performs work of moderate difficulty in supporting and assisting civil attorneys; performs related work as assigned. 

Deputy County Attorney(Attorney I-IV) - An Attorney I/II/III/IV at the County Attorney’s Office is responsible for prosecuting felony-level cases in Flagstaff Justice Court and Coconino County Superior Court.  The Attorney I/II/III/IV is expected to successfully manage a high-volume caseload, communicate well with law enforcement and victims, and demonstrate strong litigation and legal writing skills. 

Disposition Reporting Legal Assistant - The Coconino County Attorney's Office is seeking applications for a Disposition Reporting Legal Assistant position in Flagstaff. Under supervision performs work of moderate difficulty in supporting and assisting criminal and civil attorneys; performs related work as assigned. 

Felony Legal Assistant - The felony legal assistant supports several felony attorneys in the Coconino County Attorney’s Office. The candidate must successfully pass a criminal history background check and receive fingerprint clearance. Under supervision performs work of moderate difficulty in supporting and assisting criminal and civil attorneys; performs related work as assigned. 

Intake Specialist(ARPA) - Under supervision performs general office or secretarial work of moderate difficulty; performs related work as assigned.

Legal Assistant to the Felony Trial Paralegals(ARPA) - The legal assistant to the felony trial paralegals supports several trial paralegals in the Coconino County Attorney’s Office.  

Senior Civil Attorney(Attorney V)The Senior Civil Attorney at the County Attorney’s Office has responsibility for managing the Civil Division of the County Attorney’s Office, including supervising four staff attorneys, overseeing the substantive legal work of staff attorneys and providing consult and advice, ensuring attorney development through mentoring and training. The Senior Civil Attorney also represents the County Board of Supervisors and County administration while maintaining a caseload involving complex or significant legal issues demanding a high degree of resourcefulness and knowledge. This position works closely with several departments including Human Resources and Elections. The Senior Civil Attorney also participates in the leadership team of the County Attorney’s Office and is expected to develop a leadership role in local bar associations and statewide public attorney organizations.
