Tuba City VITA Dates Announced

Coconino County Supervisor Lena Fowler's Office and St. Jude Food Bank will be offering the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program in Tuba City & Fredonia starting January 27, 2020. You can get FREE help filing your 2019 income tax from IRS-certified volunteers. This service is available to households with incomes under $50,000.

In virtual VITA, you bring your tax paperwork and a volunteer will scan it, give you back the originals and returns are processed within 48-72 hours.

With Virtual VITA, you need to bring your proof of income (all W2 and 1099 forms); social security or ITIN cards for all household members; valid picture ID for taxpayer and spouse; 1095-A form if you purchased healthcare for the marketplace; copy of last year's return (if possible); all other important tax documents; name, address and tax ID number of your child care provider and the amount paid to the provider last year (if applicable); and account and routing numbers for direct deposit.
