Campaign Finance Reporting Dates

Recent statutory changes have gone into effect that have caused the campaign finance reporting obligations to be revised.

Candidate committees and political action committees (PACs) have monetary thresholds that trigger committee status and subsequent report filings. While a candidate or PAC need not report any transactions before qualifying as a committee, once that threshold has been met, all previous transactions must be reported, A.R.S. §§ 16-907(I) and 16-927.

It is recommended that each committee review the updated campaign finance law in the Arizona Revised Statutes, Title 16, Chapter 6 (A.R.S. §§ 16-901--16-938).
