Service Description
Recruitment, licensing and training of foster homes that take in abused, abandoned, and neglected children.

Eligibility Requirements
Fill out applications for certification and foster care. Need to present social security card, driver's license, and census card (if applicable), undergo criminal background check, obtain physical exam, a home inspection and a home study.

The Process Itself
Check in with secretary, referred to foster care worker, foster care worker will review application packet and process for applying, answer questions and explain each form in the application packet, contact numbers and set up an appointment or assist in filling out paperwork.

How Often are Services Received
At a minimum, once per month for monitoring purposes once licensure is obtained. Prior to licensure, at least once per week for the first month.
