YOUR VIEWS COUNT: Input on Ft. Tuthill County Park Master Plan

The County Parks and Recreation Department has initiated a master plan process for Fort Tuthill County Park, which is the County’s signature park facility. The proposed master plan will help guide future growth and development of the 413-acre park, as it transitions into a year-round destination for residents and visitors alike.

Fort Tuthill showcases the annual County Fair, Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course and the Pepsi Amphitheater – the County’s own event and concert venue that draws major musical acts each spring and summer. The park will also become the wintertime home to North Pole Experience, which will bring residents and visitors a taste of the North Pole and Santa’s Workshop.

However, guiding the park’s future depends on the amount of public input received in the planning process.

Four proposed design concepts were presented on May 3rd for  public inpput.  Link to view design concepts and send  comments http://www.coconino.az.gov/parks.aspx?id=27168

The next public hearing to discuss the Fort Tuthill County Park Master Plan  is  Wednesday, June 6  at  5:30 p.m.   in the County Board of Supervisors Chambers at 219 E. Cherry Avenue in Flagstaff.
