Information Technology Department
Description
The Information Technology Department is a centralized service department that provides networking, GIS and programming services and analysis, computer purchasing, software purchasing and upgrades, limited software applications training for County users, and miscellaneous technology consulting services to other County departments.
Mission
The mission of the Information Technology Department is to professionally, competently and through a customer service-driven philosophy apply, manage and plan for the use of appropriate technology in support of internal and external business processes and in the delivery of accurate, timely, reliable and secure services and information to the citizens and employees of Coconino County.
The Team
The Information Technology team is comprised of the following divisions: Criminal Justice Integration, Customer Service and Helpdesk, Data Center and Systems Management, Geographic Information Systems, Programming and Development, and Telecommunications and Networks. The department is staffed by more than 30 employees, interns and volunteers.
