Safe Kids in Coconino County LogoRole & Objective
Every year, unintentional injuries kill and disable more children than all other childhood diseases combined. Our goal is to reduce unintentional childhood injury. This is done through education and instruction on topics and issues such as car seat safety, bicycle and pedestrian safety, safe sleep, sledding, and more.

Basic Car Seat Safety Classes
The Coconino County Public Health Services District offers:

Northern Region classes are held at Coconino County Public Health Services District (next door to Lake Powell Medical Center) in the Red Sands Conference Room at 467 Vista Ave., Page, AZ 86046.

Flagstaff area services are available at the Coconino County Public Health Services District, 2625 N. King Street, Flagstaff, AZ 86004.

Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety
Our goal is to promote safe biking and walking to school and as a mode of transportation.

Safe Sleep
Parents and caregivers can reduce the risk of sleep-related infant death by following American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) safe sleep guidelines. Information at: http://www.cribsforkids.org
