Sustainable Building Innovations Expo and Awards Ceremony


The Coconino County Sustainable Building Program presents the annual Sustainable Building Innovations Expo and Awards Ceremony.

The County will recognize community projects that demonstrate efficient and sustainable processes in an event that will be held from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. on April 7 at Northern Arizona University’s Building No. 11, Ashurst Hall.

This year’s Awards Ceremony has two newly added components, an Innovation Expo featuring product vendors, and a student poster competition. From 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. there will be educational sessions, vendor displays and demonstrations and viewing time for student poster presentations. From 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. the Sustainable Building Program Yearly Awards will be presented and the student poster competition winners will be announced. 

There will be tables displaying the 24 projects being awarded, including contractors, subcontractors and the variety of methods and systems used in the design and construction of the award-winning structures being showcased.
