10/27/17:
The County’s contractor has broken ground on the Canyon & Cumberland Roads Drainage Improvement Project in Kaibab Estates West. This week’s work included surveying, blue staking for utilities, initial earthwork and removal of old drainage pipes on Canyon Road. This $325,000 project, which includes the installation of capped culvert crossings on Canyon Road and Cumberland Road, is intended to help mitigate seasonal flooding that occurs in the wash between these two roads that can cause severe downstream impacts and render these roads impassable during monsoon season and other times of the year.
